Travel: Spring Break in Florida Day 3

Our third and final day in lovely Florida!

We headed off to the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, which has some really nice Renaissance architecture. The Vizcaya Museum used to be called the Villa Vizcaya, which was a mansion owned by James Deering, a wealthy businessman.

Wedding preparations!

Such drama.

After leaving the garden we drove around Miami and happened upon the Miami Design District. We went window shopping (unfortunately all the stores had closed already, but everything was really expensive so that was probably for the best). It is super modern, and there are so many interesting  buildings and design/fashion shops. The entire area really emphasizes the importance of unique and artistic aesthetic. I wish everywhere could be as creatively inspired as this little district.

I have to agree with that sign.

Creepin' as always.

We said goodbye to the Miami Design District and headed back for some dinner and bubble tea (my fav). Then it was time to go to sleep and get ready for the long drive back home.

And of course, you can't drive through Florida without seeing some of their delicious oranges.

Random: I saw a runaway cow running on the highway with four police cars chasing after it. What a graceful animal. The police had to block incoming traffic just to get the cow. I don't know if I've seen anything stranger or more glorious.

That's the end!
I hope you enjoyed this little series of Florida travel posts!
I enjoyed sharing them with you all :)
